The road to Chalet Fiona
After 25 Successful years spent running a top class hairdressing business, Fiona and Peter decided it was time for a change.
And so, jotting down their capabilities and accomplishments in order to make the right choice, the result was quite revealing.
At the top has to be Peter's hobby (or obsession) with cooking, leading eventually to his winning the title of "Cook of the north" and a place as finalist in the popular BBC programme, "Masterchef"
A flair for home furnishings and decor is also an attribute of both Peter and Fiona, and this was acknowledged by their inclusion in the magazine "25 Beautiful Homes". Add to all of this the Anderson families enthusiasm for winter sports, and the decision was made.
"Good news travels quickly"
The best compliment that can be paid in a buisiness like ours, is the return of a satisfied guest for "more of the same!" We are experiencing more and more of these "Happy Returns", with Peter's cooking playing a great part in their enthusiasm. And the word gets around....this year he was invited to participate in the festival of food and wine at the renowned Jesmond Dene House in Newcastle...the base of the North East's leading chef and restauranteur, Terry Laybourne. An honour indeed, to be included to perform in the company of such renowned chefs as Paul Rankin, Simon Rimmer and Mark Hix, to name but a few!
Now, at Chalet Fiona, you can enjoy the fruits of their experience and the warmth of their talent for friendship. Come and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed!
