Terms and conditions

Chalet Fiona is herein after abbreviated to C.F.

CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
1.When you make your booking you will be asked to pay a deposit of £150 per person. A contract will exist when we issue our confirmation. The deposit is non-returnable but may be claimed on the clients travel insurance subject to terms.
2.The balance of the price of your holiday must be paid at least 8 weeks prior to the date of arrival. If the balance is not paid on time, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday, retain your deposit and apply cancellation charges. Payment in full for bookings made within 8 weeks of the arrival date must be made at the time of booking.

CANCELLATION OR ALTERATION
1.The client may by notice in writing, cancel his booking at any time. In the event of cancellation after the booking has been confirmed, the following cancellation charges are payable:
56 days or more prior to arrival = loss of deposit.
36-55 days = 50%
22-35 days = 75%
0-21 days = 100%

2.Cancellation must be in writing signed by the person who made the booking and will be acknowledged by C.F.
3.C.F. will attempt to comply with any request for amendment to the booking made after the booking has been confirmed, but cannot undertake that it will do so.
4.C.F. reserves the right, after the date of payment of the balance of the price becomes due, to cancel any holiday or make alterations to any element of the holiday whenever circumstances beyond its control amount for force majure render such cancellation or such alteration unavoidable or ( without prejudice to C.F.’s other rights ) if the client defaults in payment of the balance of the price due.
5.If C.F. cancels or makes any material alteration to the holiday, it will inform the client as soon as is reasonably practicable and will offer the client, in the case of alteration, the choice of accepting the alteration, ( which much be of comparable standard ), or a prompt and full refund of the money paid.

ACCOMMODATION
1.The accommodation provided is only for the use of clients on the original booking and subletting, sharing or assignment is prohibited.
2.Please note that all accommodation must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure. The clients cooperation in complying with this request would be greatly appreciated in order that the rooms may be prepared for incoming guests.

DAMAGES
All damages and breakages will be charged to clients and must be paid before vacating the accommodation. The client undertakes to behave in an orderly fashion and not to disrupt the enjoyment of other clients or in any way harm the reputation of C.F. The holiday of any client in breach of this clause shall be terminated forthwith and C.F. shall have no further contractual obligations towards him or her.

LIABILITY
1.C.F.accepts no liability ( except where C.F. is proved not to have used due diligence ) for any loss or damage incurred or suffered by any client in connection with any mode of transport in any way arising out of the holiday.
2.All baggage and personal possessions remain at all times and in all circumstances at the owners risk except where C.F. is proved not to have used due diligence.
3.C.F. shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising in connection with the holiday caused by any matter outside the reasonable control of C.F. including ( but not limited to ) acts of God, war, civil disturbance, strikes or other industrial actions, acts of government, failure of public services ( e.g. water and electricity ) failure of mechanical equipment such as boilers, electrical equipment or ski-lifts, although C.F. will use due diligence to remedy such failures.

SKIING
All tuition and guiding organized by C.F. is with qualified instructors. Any complaint should be made directly to the instructor or guide.

TRANSPORT
In the event of bad weather, breakdown, illness, accident or priority use, C.F. cannot guarantee that our vehicle will be available to transport clients in and between the resorts. The transport service that C.F. operates is a gratuitous service and any client traveling in the vehicle does so at his or her own risk.
